Welcome back to another one of our Weekly Community Roundups, everyone! With the Outlyer announcement and all the great tweets that have been going around, this week was a pretty great lead-up to our Tokyo trip this week — let’s take a look at what’s been going on!
Articles of the week
Our first article of the week comes from Moataz Nabil, in the form of an all-around tutorial for getting started with CI/CD for mobile development. Amazing work, Moataz!
Our next article comes from Taihei Mishima, who wrote an article about automatic iOS app releases using Fastlane/Bitrise (in Japanese). Thank you for all the work you put into this, Taihei!
Last but not least, a rarity — a technical book (in Japanese) by masahide318, which is about using Bitrise for Android projects. The book will be available at the Techbook event on the 14th of May, in Tokyo. This is amazing — thank you for your work!
Goodies of the week
This week, we saw two important additions to our platform: three Swift steps created by Yusuke Kita, and a Build Log Downloader for the Bitrise Client iOS App, made by Toshihiro Suzuki. Thank you, the both of you, for your contributions!
Tweets of the week
Our first (and most likely the funniest) tweet of the week comes from Lionheart Applications Developers, whose developers have a whole new level of devotion when it comes to Bitrise. Needless to say, this has made our day — thanks for sharing!
Our next tweet comes from Rikusouda, who praised the support he got when he was having a little bit of trouble, saying it was both fast and incredibly friendly. Thanks for the kind words, Rikusouda!
Next up, we have a tweet from Ronan Rodrigo Nunes, who shared a sneak peek at the Bitrise swag package he received — we’re glad you like it, Ronan!
Tibor Bödecs also shared his fascination with Bitrise, as well as our new sponsorship for his blog. We’re happy to be on board, Tibor!
I'd like to give a special thanks to @bitrise for sponsoring my blog. I'm using their service from the very beginning, they have the best CI/CD solution on the market and it's quite amazing that they still have time to support the #SwiftLang community! 👏 https://t.co/SA6Nxg8g7O— Tibor Bödecs (@tiborbodecs) March 12, 2019
It’s no secret we were having some issues with our build queues this week — Ryan Walberg was kind enough to send us some #hugops as consolation. Thanks, Ryan — we’re honored to have such amazing fans to support us, even in times of hardships!
Our good friend Mazyad from Careem also shared his sympathies about the queue times — cheers, Maz!
Clearly, it happens to the best of us— マジャード 🇦🇪 (@Mazyod) March 14, 2019
Sebastien Audeon wrote about us this week as well, and this time, he included a sweet pic of his current project. Happy building, Sebastien!
Next up, we have a tweet from Rizwan, who praised just how much CI tools such as Bitrise do for developers. We’re happy to be a part of your work, Rizwan!
Our next tweet comes from Yshrsmz, who thinks Bitrise’s Hybrid Stack is particularly good for Kotlin Multiplatform Projects. Cheers!
We also saw a tweet regarding our new guest post, written by John Sundell. As Marco Capano pointed out, we probably should have used Splash (courtesy of John) to make things look a bit more slick. Note taken, Marco — thanks for the recommendation!
This one comes from cor0suke, who talked about just how much time he’s saving with Bitrise. We’re happy to help, cor0suke!
Next up, we have a tweet from Moataz Nabil, who was the author behind one of our featured articles this week. We’re glad you like Bitrise so much, Moataz — thank you for this as well!
Last but not least, we have a tweet from Richard Muirhead, Sebastien Audeon, EU-Startups, and everyone else who shared his thoughts on our Outlyer acquisition news. Thank you for your kind words, Richard — and thank you everyone else for celebrating the exciting news!
We also want to thank everyone else who talked about us during the week in any way, shape, or form. We really appreciate it!
