Google Play Console Internal Testing channel landed on Bitrise

Quick addition via feature request: send your APKs to internal testing with Bitrise's Google Play Deploy step!

Quick addition via feature request: send your APKs to internal testing with Bitrise's Google Play Deploy step!

We've seen on Twitter that users found a new feature of Google Play Console: the Internal Testing channel, and that is something you want to use on Bitrise too, NOW!

So we've dug into it and we've found out that the latest Google Android Publisher API is not supporting it yet. However, Google's API Explorer revealed the trick, as it showed the new input value for the track field: internal.

Anyway, we've tried this and ran some tests with the new option, and it became a new track option in the Google Play Deploy step within couple of hours. So now by using our Google Play Deploy step, you can upload alpha, beta, production, and internal testing APKs to Google Play Store.

We hope you like it!
