Developing new features for our platform is one of the key ways we can make sure we are giving you the best service possible — and we wouldn’t be able to do it without your help. Let’s take a look at all the feature requests that we have received in the past two weeks!
Update Docker to 18.09
Our first feature request of the week comes from Taras Vozniuk, and is about updating the Bitrise Docker image to a newer version so that it can take advantage of buildkit builds.
Use GitHub organization membership for auto-provision
Our next request comes from Alexander Botkin, who would like to see GitHub organization memberships used as a basis for automatically having Bitrise users join the organization they’re a part of.
Step Secrets Hashicorp Vault
Next up, we have a feature request from Ramón Ornelas, who wants to see a step for storing and managing all of his secrets associated with his apps through Vault from Hashicorp.
No. of Downloads for Download Page
Markus Gursch also posted a feature request, which is about having a download counter that shows how many times artifacts have been downloaded on the download page.
Offer download list of test devices from Organization’s groups/people pages
Next, we have another feature request from Alexander Botkin, this time about having the ability to download a complete list of the test devices associated with an organization.
Add possibility to abort build on the list of all builds
We also saw a request for a feature from Krzysztof Romanowski, which was about adding an abort build button for builds on the build list page.
Throttle mobile connection for Xcode testing
Last but not least, Scott O’Toole asked for a mobile connection throttling functionality for Xcode testing.
That’s it for now, folks! Make sure you go and vote on your favorite feature requests to help us see just what it is you'd really want to see on Bitrise. Have any ideas that you haven't seen mentioned? Post them on the feature request page — all you have to do is log into your account, click "New Topic" on the top right corner of the page, and you're good to go! See you in two weeks with a new Feature Request Friday!
