On March 4, we joined 30+ organizations in their mission to improve the technology and processes related to shipping large-scale mobile apps as a part of the
Mobile Native Foundation.

Supported by organizations such as Spotify, Lyft, Linkedin, or Github, the foundation aims to provide a place to collaborate on open source projects and discuss wide-ranging topics in order to improve processes and technologies for large-scale Android and iOS applications.

Keeping up the momentum

Bitrise has been a mobile-first platform since the very beginning — supporting the developer community and enabling knowledge-sharing has always been at the core of what we do. We regularly research and dissect up-and-coming Mobile DevOps practices on our blog, interview experts in our own podcast, 'Mobile DevOps is a thing!' and regularly attend and sponsor relevant events to stay up-to-date with the needs of mobile developers.

But, mobile is changing, and it’s changing fast — keeping up with such a dynamic environment is always a challenge for us and developers alike. We hope to use this opportunity to provide a trusted source of truth for Native developers in topics ranging from testing, build optimization, and tooling to team management and productivity.

We care deeply about mobile engineers and finding ways to help them continuously improve with the technology, so joining the Mobile Native Foundation was the most natural decision for us — and we are more than happy to see dozens of other companies who think just like us.

Exciting times ahead

Our team is excited to contribute to all the valuable discussions and great projects of the foundation. We’ll make sure to invite our awesome community to join us wherever they can — you can stay informed by following us on Twitter, as we share everything that’s happening with us there. 🚀
