Xcode 16 is now available on Bitrise, bringing important updates like macOS Sonoma, tool upgrades, and breaking changes that may impact some workflows. While stable Xcode 14.x and 15.x stacks remain unchanged, developers should test their workflows on the Xcode 16 Edge stack to prepare for the migration. As we are getting closer to Apple's usual keynote event in September, we're gearing up for the stable Xcode 16 release on Bitrise. We're passionate about providing you with the best and latest, and with this new Xcode release, it's no exception. However, we also want to give you a heads up about what this means for our platform and for our users.
In March 2024 we will release a major update to our Linux stacks that will bring Ubuntu 22.04 Jammy Jellyfish to Bitrise, in accordance with our Stack Update Policy.
We take security seriously at Bitrise which is why we recently completed the SOC 2 Assessment to further data security. We first completed the SOC 2 Type II Assessment in 2021, since then, we renew our Assessment each year to ensure we continue to make security our priority.
