After a bit of a hiatus, the Community Roundup is back! With the new year come many great new articles and some lovely mentions that we thought we would share. Let’s dive in and see what has been going on in the Bitrise community lately!
Articles of the month
First of all, we wanted to thank all of our Japanese users who participated in the Bitrise Advent Calendar, a program held on Qiita. It was great seeing how many of you were there with all these great pieces right away, even if we were a bit late to the party. Without further ado, here is a couple of them that we have yet to have shared.
We have some articles that weren't part of the Calendar as well, of course. Our next one comes from Nash, who wrote a piece about running Android instrumentation tests using Bitrise. Thanks for writing this, Nash!
This article comes from Carlos Morales Pereira over at Barkibu Dev, who wrote an introductory article about Bitrise and the way they use it for their Flutter setup. Great job, Carlos — we'd be thrilled to hear more about how you use the platform.
This next one, written by Akatsuki over at Timers, is a piece on how the company does its Android app distribution through Bitrise and Firebase App Distribution. Thank you for putting this together, Akatsuki. Amazing work!
Next up is an article by Kuri Tatsuyoshi over at JapanTaxi, who just recently started using us, and thought he would put his thoughts down about the process. We are happy to see you had a great time, and it all went swimmingly. Let us know if we can be of any help moving forward.
Our next article comes from Rick Manelius, and is about how Bitrise has been a game-changer for their development processes, and how they managed to release their bottlenecks using our platform. Honestly, user testimonials don't get any better than this — thank you for talking about us yet again, Rick. We're happy to have you folks on board.
Last but not least, we have an article by Funzin, who wrote about dealing with Sandbox users with multiple accounts when it comes to 2FA and Bitrise. Thanks for this, Funzin — cheers!
Tweets and mentions
Our first tweet this time comes from Baptiste Candellier, who got in quite a pickle thanks to a late transfer — thankfully, he had our trusty Bitrise socks with him! Glad to hear you’re enjoying them, Baptiste.
Next up is one by Kazuma Nagano, who expressed just how happy he was to have been featured on the Roundup. It’s always great to see how active this community is — thank you again for the article. As an added bonus, here is the English translation for Kazuma’s article. Another round of thanks for this, Kazuma!
Next up is a tweet from Yoshiki Miura, who mentioned us amongst the services he’s thankful for. We’re glad to be of help, Yoshiki!
Next is a tweet from Takahiro Tsuchiya, who translated one of our DevCenter guides into Japanese. Much appreciated, Takahiro!
Tiago Marques, one of the founders at Zephyr Place also tweeted at us, thanking us for being awesome and helping them do releases faster than ever before. Always glad to hear just how much we can help, Tiago. Cheers!
Next up is a tweet from Yaminoma_tw, who gave us a shoutout for being way faster than other services. That's what we're aiming for — thank you for mentioning us!
Actions使ってみた感想ですが、Bitrise使えるならBitrise使った方が早いという気持ちです。— メテオさん (@yaminoma_tw) December 13, 2019
We also saw a few tweets featuring some very special Christmas gifts — Bitrise swag! We saw one from Hanyu_chen_ios, one from Hokila Jan, one from Tank Lin, and one from Rick Manelius. We’re happy to see you like them so much, folks, and hope you all had a wonderful time during the holidays.
In response to a tweet about CI/CD made by Camille Fournier, Cat Turner also mentioned Bitrise — and had some really wonderful things to say. It means a lot to us to see how much you like the platform. Thanks for the praise, Cat!
Next up is Miiiite, who tweeted about how easy it was to set up a workflow for both Android and iOS apps through Bitrise. It’s great to see that everything went so smoothly, Miiiite. Let us know if we can help out in any way.
Mateusz Matrejek also gave us some high praise, also noting that using the service through the unofficial client, Builder, gave him some much-appreciated freedom when it comes to multitasking. Always glad to be of service, Mateusz.
Our next mention comes from Udi Vaks, who gave us quite a shoutout as well. In his words, Using Bitrise with Flutter “has been revolutionary with the ability to deploy a new iOS, Android and Web versions every day.”
That’s what our goal is, Udi — to make everything more easy and convenient for you folks. Cheers!
Last but not least, we have a tweet by Alex, who recommended us to the folks over at VLC as a great way to upload their APKs to multiple stores at once. We really appreciate the shoutout, and hope you're having a great time using Bitrise.
