All right, we admit it, we just can’t stay away. After last year’s CICD Test Night, we came home from Japan chock-full of amazing memories, and we were hoping to get the chance to visit again soon. Well, our wish has been granted — we are happy to announce that we will be attending try! Swift, one of the largest social gatherings of Swift developers! The conference will be held at Belle Salle Shibuya First on the 21st and the 22nd of March (with workshops on the 23rd), and will feature speakers such as 1024jp, Nobuo Saito, Mayuko Inoue, Yuta Saito — and us, of course!

On the 21st and 22nd, we’ll be there with an amazing on-booth experience, including a live onboarding demo, a quiz, and lots of goodies to give out. Don’t worry — we remember just how much you loved all the swag we brought with us last time around, so we’ll be bringing even more this year.

We will also have a full-day workshop on the 23rd, where we’re hoping to see as many of you as possible. For those who come and join us this year, we are planning something really special — a surprise event that will get you your own, unique Bitrise memorabilia. There is no entry fee for people with tickets to the main event, so come and join us, and find out just what we have planned!

We will be sharing more details about the event and our talks along the way — for now, if you’re interested, you can purchase a ticket through the convention’s website. They only have a limited amount left, so if you don’t want to miss out your chance, get one in advance!

Try!Swift will also be the first in a long line of conferences and conventions we will be attending this year. Amongst others, we will be visiting New York, San Francisco, Berlin, Singapore, and London — so don’t worry, you’ll have the chance to see us even if you’re not around Tokyo this March. Stay tuned to find out more about our upcoming events!

Bitrise Customer Roadshow Part 2: Back in Japan

In addition to being at try! Swift, we would like to do something that very much warmed our hearts the last time around: meet the people who love Bitrise the most. While we’re there, we would like the chance to meet as many of our customers as we can, and see just how much they have achieved with Bitrise.

If you use Bitrise and would like us to swing by your office to talk about how Bitrise fits into your workflow, your thoughts on the service, and our future plans and roadmaps, don’t hesitate — to reach out to us using our calendar invitation form. We can promise good times, tons of presents, and us miserably failing at Japanese. Don’t worry, we’ll be bringing translators with us.

We are also going to participate in a number of local meetups during our stay in Tokyo, like the Flutter meetup. While we have a couple of meetups lined up, we are still looking for more — if you or someone you know is hosting such an event, and would like us to drop by, please contact us at [email protected], and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can!

Bitrise launches new Twitter handle for its Japanese audience

As part of our last bit of news today, we want to extend a wholehearted thank-you towards the Japanese dev community: you have been giving us tremendous amounts of love and support right from the beginning, and we’re grateful for it. Our engagement with our Japanese fanbase has been increasing steadily in the near past, and as a next step towards an even closer relationship, we are happy to announce that we are launching our Japanese-only Twitter account at @BitriseJ.

This new Twitter handle will include all of our content and announcements as the regular one, but will aim to cater to our users and fans in Japan, and help them engage with us even more than before.

This post was written by Akos Hantos and translated by Ryuji Owan, who are new members of the Bitrise family. While Akos will be responsible for creating pieces of content about Bitrise, such as Customer Success Stories, Ryuji will support our Japanese developer community and will be managing our new Twitter handle as well. Please welcome them with open arms, and wish them plenty of good times at Bitrise!

If you’d like to get the latest updates and announcements about the try! Swift conference, follow them on Twitter @tryswiftconf, or visit their website!
