This is a guest post brought to you by Tom Hu on behalf of the Codecov team.
Our team at Codecov is happy to announce that we built an official Verified Step for Bitrise. Codecov began as a project to solve one developer’s personal frustration of not being able to get a quick look at what code is tested. That was the case with Bitrise too, starting out as a tool to solve the problem of our founders. With shared values and plenty of mutual customers, we’re excited to share this official integration and help out mobile developers all around the world.
We’re thrilled to partner with Bitrise in bringing easy code coverage available for Bitrise users. We firmly believe that integrating the tools developers use out-of-the-box is a much more convenient way to work than manually tools together with custom script steps.
About the Step
The Codecov Step allows you to reduce technical debt by providing visualized test performance reports, faster code reviews, and workflow enhancements.
How it works
It uploads your code coverage files to codecov.io, so you’ll be able to see your code coverage in a single report. This way you can:
- Ensure that a code coverage check is performed on each pull request.
- Make sure that no PR will be merged into your master branch until the requirements are met.
- Improve your code quality and test coverage!
Bitrise Verified Steps are official integrations developed and maintained by the service owner. If you'd like to know more about our Verified Step Program and create your Verified Step, read more about it here.
