Why did you choose to work at Bitrise?

As a fresh graduate, I wanted to join a startup with a clear mission and vision where I could contribute to its success on a daily basis. When I came across an internship opportunity at Bitrise I did not give it a second thought as it combines two things that I love: tech and sales. What got me to be more convinced with Bitrise during the interview stages was the recruitment process and team behind — it's a group of highly motivated and intelligent people that aim to bring the best talents onboard.

What’s your role at Bitrise? How can you accelerate your career within Bitrise?

I am part of the Sales team as a Sales Development Team Leader for EMEA. I work closely with our Marketing and Growth team as well.

On a daily basis it means I am on back-to-back calls with our customers trying to see the best offering we have that suits their needs. Other than that, I work closely with our sales leadership team to execute new strategies and operations that would help us expand into new markets and find out how we can support our existing customers.

What keeps you inspired?

As clichéd as this might sound, but definitely the team that I work with. The Sales Development representatives that I work with are highly intelligent people and super motivated that always keep me inspired to give110% out there.

We are always working together as one force to achieve our goals, but the proactive attitude and the work ethic that they have is out of this world.

What would you do for a career if you weren't doing this?

I’d be a pilot — I admire aviation and all that it entails. I tend to use my free time to read more about the dynamics of it and how it operates. Fun fact: I love taking longer routes when I travel just so I can spend more time on the airplane than on the ground.

What kind of skills do you need to have to work effectively at Bitrise?

I strongly believe in our value that says we move with urgency and focus. At Bitrise, we are growing at a breakneck speed, while we often have to adapt to changes in such a short period of time. While we do have to make speedy decisions, it is always backed up by undivided attention and focus from Risers across the board.

What’s your favorite method of learning?

Hands-on. I often love to experience things first hand and fail to better understand what actually went wrong and how I can avert it next time. Not only that, but I am generally a curious person. If I do learn something and start executing it without it failing, I’d tend to experiment more to see where there could potentially be room for improvement in the process.
