Managing multiple apps with different store accounts just got easier.
Bitrise Release Management helps developers distribute apps efficiently, whether delivering internal builds or publishing to the App Store or Google Play. It’s built to support teams at scale, with teams relying on it to release hundreds of apps across different platforms and accounts.
But for app developers managing multiple apps, especially those releasing under different developer accounts, store credential management has been a challenge. It’s now a lot easier.
What's new: app-level store connections
Developers often manage many different apps, each tied to a different App Store or Google Play developer account. Until now, apps in Release Management had to share the same store connection as their Bitrise Project. This made it difficult to release multiple apps under separate store accounts within the same project.

With the latest update, you can now:
- use your Bitrise Project’s connection, or
- configure an app-level connection.
This change supports smoother, more secure workflows for teams that are managing multiple apps across different clients or internal teams for both App Store and Google Play. You can read more about it here.
Improved security: API key management moves to workspace level
As a part of this update, App Store Connect API key management is also moving from the account level to the workspace level.

This change provides:
- Better control and visibility for teams
- Enhanced workspace security
- Fewer disruptions if a team member leaves the project
Existing account-level keys continue to work, but all new keys must be added under Workspace Settings.
