Terms of use for Bitrise Build Hub
TOU Effective Date: August 25, 2026
Please read this TOU carefully before using Bitrise Build Hub.
If there is an executed Bitrise Order for Bitrise Build Hub that applies to you, then the terms of that Bitrise Order establish the binding legal commitment between you and Bitrise in connection with your access and use of Bitrise Build Hub.
If there is no Bitrise Order for Bitrise Build Hub that applies to you, then by accessing and using Bitrise Build Hub, as defined below, you (1) acknowledge your acceptance of this TOU, (2) represent that you are authorized to enter into this TOU on behalf of Customer, and (3) agree that this TOU is a binding and enforceable part of the agreement between Bitrise and Customer together with the Governing Agreement (as defined below).
The terms and conditions of this TOU and the Governing Agreement apply to your access and usage of Bitrise Build Hub. In the event of any conflict between this TOU and the Governing Agreement, this TOU shall control and govern your access and use of Bitrise Build Hub only, and not any other Bitrise Services or Bitrise Add-ons.
Bitrise does not grant you any usage rights of any kind to Bitrise Build Hub, and you must immediately stop using Bitrise Build Hub, if any of the following apply at any time:
- you do not agree to be bound by these TOU;
- you cannot agree to be bound by these TOU;
- you cannot comply at all times with all terms of these TOU; or
- any provisions of these TOU are not enforceable under the laws that apply to you.

These TOU, as may be amended from time to time, is between you or the entity you represent (hereinafter “Customer” or “you”) and Bitrise, and supplements the Governing Agreement, and made effective between the parties as of the TOU Effective Date.
1. Definitions.
The following definitions apply in this TOU. Any capitalized terms used in these TOU but not defined in this document have the meanings assigned them in the Governing Agreement.
- “Bitrise Add-on” or “Add-on” has the meaning set forth in the Governing Agreement.
- “Bitrise Build Hub” means the Bitrise platform as a service offering optimized for app development, which includes Bitrise’s infrastructure environment, and the tools used by Bitrise for the maintenance and management of such infrastructure environment.
- “Committed Capacity” means the maximum MAC and/or Linux vCPU guaranteed to be available to Customer pursuant to Customer’s Plan.
- “Customer Content” means all content that Customer provides to Bitrise, such as content uploaded from a Supported CI Solution, through Customer’s use of Bitrise Build Hub. The parties agree that Customer Content is a form of Customer Data under the Governing Agreement.
- “Governing Agreement” means the currently effective Bitrise Terms of Service available at https://www.bitrise.io/terms.
- “Infrastructure Resources” means the macOS VMs and Linux VMs listed in the Plan.
- “Supported CI Runner” means the software component provided by a third-party CI provider that enables Customer to connect such third party’s Supported CI Solution to Bitrise Build Hub.
- “Supported CI Solution” means a third-party CI solution that may be used by Customer in connection with Bitrise Build Hub, through the use of a Supported CI Runner. As of the TOU Effective Date, the following are the Supported CI Solutions: GitHub Actions.
2. Use of the Bitrise Build Hub Add-on.
- Subject to Customer’s compliance at all time with these TOU and the Governing Agreement, including, without limitation, payment of all applicable Fees, Bitrise grants Customer a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable and terminable license to use Bitrise Build Hub together with any Supported CI Runner for the sole purpose of enabling Customer to use the Supported CI Solution together with Bitrise Build Hub. Bitrise reserves the entire right, title, and interest in and to Bitrise Build Hub, the underlying hardware, network infrastructure, system software, vitrualizations, management tools, and any other Bitrise provided software components used therein. Except for the license specifically granted herein, Customer does not acquire any Intellectual Property Rights or ownership interest in Bitrise Build Hub.
- Customer’s use of Bitrise Build Hub is limited to the Committed Capacity and by the monthly Fee identified in Customer’s Plan. Once Customer’s usage reaches the monthly Fee associated with Customer’s Plan, no additional use of Bitrise Build Hub is permitted in that month. The Infrastructure Resources listed in the Customer’s Plan are provided at the rates listed in Customer’s Plan. Bitrise may add, remove, or replace Infrastructure Resources so long as replacement Infrastructure Resources with comparable or better performance and rates are available in the Customer’s Plan during the Term.
- Bitrise Build Hub shall be considered a Bitrise Add-on under the Governing Agreement; pursuant to the Governing Agreement, Bitrise Build Hub is a part of the Services. Use of Bitrise Build Hub together with any other Bitrise Add-on may be subject to the Bitrise Add-on Terms and Conditions and/or fees applicable to such other Bitrise Add-on.
- Bitrise Build Hub is intended for use only with Supported CI Solution(s) pursuant to these TOU and the Governing Agreement. Unless Bitrise specifically notifies Customer in writing on a case-by-case basis that it is permissible for Customer to use Bitrise Build Hub with any third-party service providing competitor services to Bitrise which is not a Supported CI Solution, such use is prohibited.
- Bitrise has no responsibility for any Supported CI Runner, any Supported CI Solution, or any software, infrastructure, or other technology of any kind used by Customer in connection with Bitrise Build Hub. Customer represents and warrants that: (a) Customer owns or licenses the rights to any Supported CI Solution and any other technology and/or software that Customer uses in connection with Bitrise Build Hub, and (b) Customer will not violate the Bitrise Acceptable Use Policy. Customer agrees that it is solely responsible for the provision, security, maintenance, and costs related to the Supported CI Solution that Customer uses in connection with Bitrise Build Hub, including, without limitation, for providing a working internet connection.
- Customer grants to Bitrise the rights to Customer Content solely as necessary for Bitrise to provide Bitrise Build Hub to Customer, as set forth in these TOU. By submitting any Customer Content, Customer grants Bitrise a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, terminable license to host, copy, transmit, and display Customer Content solely as necessary for Bitrise to provide Bitrise Build Hub to Customer. Customer Content remains Customer’s property. Customer remains solely responsible for all its Customer Content and represents and warrants that it has obtained all necessary rights and licenses to grant Bitrise the license rights in the Customer Content under this TOU. Customer further represents that the Customer Content will not, in so far as it relates to Bitrise, infringe, misappropriate, or violate a third party’s intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity or privacy, or result in the violation of any applicable law or regulation. Further, Customer shall not provide any Customer Content that is not relevant to the provision and use of Bitrise Build Hub, including, without limitation, any Personal Data.
- If Customer accesses and uses Bitrise Build Hub for proof-of-concept purposes, Customer’s use of the Bitrise Build Hub shall be governed by the provisions of the Governing Agreement as applicable to Beta and Evaluation Offerings and any other terms or disclaimers which may be applicable to use of Bitrise Build Hub for proof-of-concept purposes.
- You acknowledge and agree that (a) the Bitrise Build Hub may be inaccessible or inoperable due to periodic maintenance or repairs that Bitrise makes from time to time or due to force majeure events, and Bitrise has no control over, and assumes no liability for, the availability of Bitrise Build Hub on a continuous or uninterrupted basis; (b) Bitrise Build Hub may not work with all Supported CI Runners and/or Supported CI Solutions available now or in the future; (c) Bitrise does not provide support for any Supported CI Runner or any Supported CI Solution; (d) Bitrise shall have no liability to Customer for any damage caused to a Supported CI Runner or a Supported CI Solution resulting from Customer’s use of Bitrise Build Hub.
3. Termination.
- If during the Term of a Plan, a third-party supplier discontinues the provision of, or otherwise changes the availability of or the terms under which a Supported CI Runner and/or a Supported CI Solution is being offered (including, without limitation, if the third-party supplier changes the pricing of the Supported CI Runner and/or the Supported CI Solution), such that Customer is no longer able to use the Supported CI Solution with Bitrise Build Hub, (i) Customer may apply any prepaid, prorated, unused Fees for Bitrise Build Hub to any other Service(s) offered by Bitrise, or (ii) upon Bitrise’s prior written approval, which may not be unreasonably withheld, Customer may use Bitrise Build Hub with a different Supported CI Solution.
- On any termination or expiration of the Plan, Customer agrees to terminate the use of Bitrise Build Hub.
